Rubin Data Preview 1 (DP1) Object (lite)

The Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory is a 10-year astronomical survey designed to map the entire southern sky with unprecedented detail. It aims to address fundamental questions about dark energy, dark matter, the structure of the Milky Way, and the Solar System. The collection presented here was produced by the DASH pipeline and corresponds to a reduced (lite) version of the object collection.

Data Preview 1 (DP1) is the first preliminary internal release containing observed data from the project. It includes image products and catalogs generated by the Rubin Science Pipelines v29 from observations taken with the LSST Commissioning Camera across seven fields of approximately one square degree each over a seven-week period in late 2024.
